Dante Di Loreto serves as Fremantle’s North American President of Scripted Entertainment.  In this role, he oversees the company’s scripted slate and develops new series for its pipeline. Currently, his team is in production on the APPLE TV + continuing series Mosquito Coast, from Luther creator Neil Cross and director Rupert Wyatt, which is based on Paul Theroux’s novel and stars actor Justin Theroux. Di Loreto’s team is also in production on the third season of American Gods, the STARZ original series based on Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling novel. 

Upcoming projects from Di Loreto and Fremantle include an adaptation of Mervyn Peake’s acclaimed Gormenghast novels for SHOWTIME, with award-winning author Neil Gaiman, showrunner Toby Whithouse, and Academy Award-winning writer and producer Akiva Goldsman. Fremantle’s slate also includes projects with HULU, F/X, PARAMOUNT NETWORK, USA, TNT, QUIBI, and CHANNEL 4 in the UK – as well as projects with acclaimed novelists ranging from Paulo Coelho to Jennifer Egan 

Di Loreto also plays an active role within that global scripted network and its international catalogue of major dramas which includes The Young Pope (HBO), Hard Sun (Hulu/BBC), Picnic at Hanging Rock (Amazon/Foxtel) and My Brilliant Friend (HBO/RAI), based on the best-selling Elena Ferrante novel. 

Di Loreto has produced for television, film and Broadway, with a repertoire of international hit dramas under his belt including Glee and American Horror Story. Television produced by Di Loreto has secured over 120 Emmy® nominations and 31 wins. For HBO, Di Loreto executive produced the Emmy-award winning films Temple Grandin and The Normal Heart
