Moderated by Variety's Debra Birnbaum, our executive “future of the industry” panel will have representation from the analyst, digital, cable and broadcast sides of the business.

It feels like future shock right now, but is TV at the beginning, middle or end of its seismic disruption? Our panelists debate the future of the TV industry over the next five years, tackling questions from the number of nets/content buyers still in play in the wake of consolidation and vertical integration, to disruptors of the future, what the 2023 media workplace looks like and how future content deals could be structured. Will there still be room for the indie producer? Is broadcast a top-tier mass medium? Where are ad dollars headed? How will consumers prefer to “buy” their content and where will they prefer to get it?
